First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis
Overview
This nationally recognised training is for individuals who have responsibility for others in the workplace (adults and/or children) who have been diagnosed as being at risk of anaphylaxis.
Duration
Pre learning modules online & 60 minute face to face practical session.
Purpose
Graduates of this course will be able to identify and provide a first aid response to anaphylaxis, develop strategies to prevent exposure to known allergens and minimise risks related to anaphylaxis.
Assessment
Prior online learning module to be completed, along with practical skills assessment.
Pathway
This course, although aligned to the requirements of children’s services and schools, is used in a variety of industry sectors and workplace settings such as (but not limited to): aged care, disability, sport/recreation, security, early childhood, and schools.
Delivery
Blended Learning. Also available in completely face to face or virtual.
