Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies
Overview
This course will provide learners with the skills and knowledge to develop, review, and update an asthma risk assessment and emergency management strategy and to recognise and respond safely to an asthma episode using asthma related first aid interventions.
Duration
Pre learning modules online & 60 minute face to face practical session.
Purpose
This course applies to workers who have a duty of care requirement and work in a wide range of settings where emergencies involving asthma episodes may occur.
Assessment
Prior online learning module to be completed, along with practical skills assessment.
Pathway
The worker’s duty of care requirement may be an industry, legislative and/or specific organisation/workplace requirement.
Delivery
Blended Learning. Also available in completely face to face or virtual.
